We have been serving the local community since 1874 and are the oldest continuously operating business in Monson. Squier's has evolved as the community has evolved at one time selling grain, bulk coal, hay, and livestock feed. While no longer selling these items we continue to change with the times and now offer lumber, building materials, paint, garden supplies, hardware, windows, doors, wood pellets and bagged coal, pellet, coal and wood stoves and hearth products. Having been continuously operated in our third generation by the Haley family since the early 1940's, Squier Lumber & Hardware, Inc. has an investment in it's community and it's customers.

- We know it seems like winter just left us but, now is the time to secure your pellets and coal for next season. With our current economic challenges, the supply of raw material feedstock for the pellet mills is very limited. We expect a gradual increase in pricing through the spring and summer and into the fall with prices eventually approaching last year's pricing. Our suggestion, like all years in the past, is to Buy Now to secure your winter's heating supply now before any more wild gyrations in the world energy market. Store your pellets away in your basement or garage now and forget all about it until that first cold night in September when you actually look forward to turning on the stove for the first time secure in the knowledge that you have all the pellets you need for the season.
