Winter in New England

Squier Lumber is ready to stand shoulder to shoulder with you to overcome the sometimes difficult winter weather we experience in New England. Remember last year when the weather turned bad just after the holidays and there wasn't a snow rake available anywhere? Now that the holidays are over this year, it is time to make sure you are prepared. We have snow rakes, shovels, scrapers, choppers and other implements of winter destruction. We have numerous different types of ice melts and traction sand. You may want to consider tube sand for the trunk of your car for emergencies. We carry a full line of weatherstripping to seal out drafts and the cold. Of course, we are still the largest supplier of wood pellets and coal in the area to help keep you warm and cozy this winter.

We have been serving the local community since 1874 and are the oldest continuously operating business in Monson. Squier's has evolved as the community has evolved at one time selling grain, bulk coal, hay, and livestock feed. While no longer selling these items we continue to change with the times and now offer lumber, building materials, paint, garden supplies, hardware, windows, doors, wood pellets and bagged coal, pellet, coal and wood stoves and hearth products. Having been continuously operated in our third generation by the Haley family since the early 1940's, Squier Lumber & Hardware, Inc. has an investment in it's community and it's customers.

Squier Lumber is now carrying a greatly expanded line of compressed wood fuel such as logs and bricks for your fireplace, barbecue pits, woodstoves and chimineas. This product line is expanding rapidly and demand has been outstripping supply but we are still carrying WoodBrickFuel and a new product, FuelBlocks both priced as a replacement for cordwood. We are also now carrying Logik-e products including their Night Log product good for extended burn times in your wood stove. Their log and block products are great choices for use in your fireplaces, chimineas, and barbecue pits.
